I recently read the article below.
In a year of so many public complaints and sharing of incidents of improper sexual conduct from “stars”, it sadly wasn’t an uncommon story.
What struck me about this one though, was the realisation of the huge impact that someone in power can have not just on those who find themselves working with them ( we will all have our own examples of poor behaviour from those more senior that us during our careers), but also the much wider reaching impact it can have on a company or entire industry.
It’s a reminder for those senior leaders to use their power for the good and benefit of others, and not to their detriment… and if as a leader you aren’t sure if you are doing that … there is plenty of development !
