Just finished watching Alan Bates v The Post Office. A drama I know – but the facts sitting behind it are deeply upsetting.

There will be many of us who have been ambassadors for the organisations that we worked for – as they ought to be able to expect us to at some level. However, I’ve always had a bugbear about those who ought to hold organisations – and the leaders within them – accountable – to be the conscience of the organisation.

This highlights how important it is to have corporate social responsibility – but more importantly to constantly be prepared to evaluate and analyse org performance; to be proactive in identifying issues, open to listening, accepting them and working to resolve. OD at its best!
